Nysse Mobile terms of use

You can use Nysse Mobile to buy Tampere regional transport tickets and use the journey planner. Tickets are valid on Tampere regional transport’s buses and its traffic zones. All Nysse Mobile tickets work on mobile phones and are not loaded onto Nysse travel cards. 

  

The ticket will become valid as soon as the purchase is accepted. Make sure that your ticket is on your phone before you get on the bus and that your phone displays the correct time. Scan the QR code at the reader when you get on the bus. If necessary, show a valid ticket to the driver/ticket inspector. 

  

Payment is accepted using Visa, Visa Electron or Mastercard cards (debit and credit), for which online payment has been enabled, or mobile payment, which charged to the user’s mobile phone bill. In connection with mobile payment, wifi must be turned off. 

 

When buying a ticket, you must have enough balance to cover the full cost of the ticket. If you use mobile payment, operators transmit your mobile phone number to Tampere regional transport organization for billing. You can buy single tickets and day tickets within the one-time and monthly limits set by the operators. 

 

The app recognizes you and when you are paying a product, offers you the payment cards you have stored in the payment service. The information stored in the payment service include the credit card number and expiry date. Payment card details are not stored in the app. 

 

Receipts for your purchases are visible in nyssemobiili.fi -service. 

Ticket purchases cannot be cancelled. Check that you have selected the correct zone and age group before confirming your payment. Please note that the purchased ticket will be valid immediately. This means that you can’t buy the next ticket and wait for it to start after the previous one has expired. You should only buy a new ticket once the previous one has expired, unless you, for example need a ticket for other zones. 

  

A ticket grants unlimited travel in the selected zone(s) for the duration of the ticket. You can change to another bus during the ticket validity period, which can be seen on the tickets tab. 

  

Once the ticket expires, you may finish your journey within the ticket’s validity zones, but you may no longer change bus. 

  

If your phone shows the incorrect time, or the application is closed and there is no internet connection, it will not be possible to show an up-to-date ticket. This means that the ticket is no longer valid. 

  

It is worth registering with the service because if you change phones or your phone is broken, stolen or lost, it allows you to transfer a valid season ticket to your new phone. In cities where a season ticket is on sale, the user must register and be logged in to the app to purchase a season ticket. The 30-day ticket can be transferred to a new phone a maximum of 5 times. 

 

 You can buy the student ticket if: 

·                        You are over the age of 17 and study full-time (student status in Studyinfo -service) 

·                        You have updated your student information by getting the link about your studies from Studyinfo -service using strong identification. Student status will be updated at most up to the end of August the following year. After this, you must update your status again if your studies continue. 

The student ticket is personal (be prepared to prove your identity). A separate night fee will not be charged.

Waltti Mobile is part of the public transport authorities’ national Waltti system. Waltti Mobile customers’ data is saved on the Waltti online store service customer register (kauppa.waltti.fi). A personal data file in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is formed in the service and on its background component systems. The controller is TVV lippuja maksujärjestelmä Oy. 

  

The customer must accept valid terms of use for TVV lippuja maksujärjestelmä Oy’s (Waltti’s) service and for purchased tickets (Tampere regional transport). Customers can check the terms of use for the service in the settings tab.
